Marketing Manager—IOFM Group
Overall position: Execute and track direct marketing campaigns to attract audiences to conferences, as well as membership and certification programs. Coordinate direct marketing campaigns that build membership and conference attendance, as well as leads to exhibitor sales team. Support inbound marketing programs through increased visibility of online content that drives traffic to event and product sites. Create compelling copy for websites, landing pages, brochures, emails, etc.
Roles & responsibilities include:
- Writes copy for print pieces, websites, press releases and other marketing pieces
- Coordinates the design and production process of promotional and collateral material
- Prepares and maintains annual promotion schedules for each show and ensures deadlines are met
- Acts as liaison with industry associations, partners and media on event marketing efforts

Human Resources Administrator
Diversified Communications has an opening for a Human Resources Administrator to join our growing team. This position is responsible for providing administrative support to the Human Resources Department in the areas of: recruiting, benefit administration, HRIS, training, insurance and contract management.
Responsibilities include:
- Employee Recruitment – Manage incoming resumes and applications, maintain hiring metrics, coordination of new hire orientations
- HRIS Administration – Point of contact for employees on ADP Workforce Now to research and resolve basic issues for staff members and prepare and maintain reports for department and senior management.
- Benefit Administration – Act as a resource for general benefit questions, including employment policies, assist in tracking of wellness program credits and administration.
- Performance Management – Support HR Managers in scheduling and tracking performance reviews and program development
- General Administrative – provide clerical and administrative support to HR Department, maintain electronic and paper files, maintain Human Resources calendar, HRIS and intranet pages, maintain HR forms, manuals and kits, maintain corporate contract file system, schedule and coordinate logistics for training and other company events, including food, beverage and meeting spaces.
The ideal candidate will have proven success in communication and presentation skills, a focus on customer service and relationship building, and strong technical proficiency. Minimum of 2-3 years of experience working in human resources with primary responsibilities for customer service, administration and support of core functional areas of human resources. Knowledge of state and federal employment laws relating to key areas of responsibility. Expertise in MS Office systems, ADP, and SharePoint is required.
Support Analyst
The preferred candidate is a customer service centric, friendly person, who works well in a team environment. This person must be a self-starter and quickly gain an understanding of the company’s business systems, processes, and software tools as well as develop mutual rapport with internal customers. They should possess the discipline and stress management of meeting challenging deadlines within a large-scale enterprise. Strong communication skills are a must as well as analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to shift focus based on changing priorities. The ideal candidate will be proficient in production/technical support activities and have an aptitude for implementing quality assurance for functional testing.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Business / Functional Liaison – Answer calls, trouble tickets, and questions with varying inquiries from revenue producing users into system integration and configuration questions. Prepare technical documentation and instructional manuals relevant to the establishment and functioning of entire operational systems.
- Application Support – Conduct administrative and support related tasks using existing application tools. Includes doing any necessary analysis, interfacing with developers, and following required guidelines to ensure critical business systems remain stable.
- Projects – Possesses the interest and ability to function as part of a project team to perform Unit and System testing of new application functionality, including sign-off on code in development and test environments prior to production migration request.

Part-time Receptionist
Diversified Business Communications, a Portland, Maine-based international trade show management and trade magazine publisher, is seeking a part-time Receptionist for our busy Portland headquarters. At our company, the Receptionist is responsible for answering and routing all incoming calls, greeting incoming customers and visitors, keeping various places on employee intranet up to date, assisting with Mail Room responsibilities, data entry and overall administrative responsibilities to maintain an organized front desk area. The ideal candidate will have prior receptionist experience on a multi-line phone system; demonstrate superior customer service; comfortable in a fast-paced front desk environment; and have a professional presentation. Word, Excel, SharePoint and Access experience is preferred. If you are a friendly, outgoing, self –starter and can adjust quickly to changing priorities and willing to step in where required we would like to hear from you! This is a benefits eligible, part-time position. Some light lifting required. Work hours are Monday – Friday 11:30 – 5pm.

Senior Accountant/Treasury Analyst
Diversified Communications, a Portland, Maine-based international event management and publishing company is seeking a detail-oriented, independently-motivated Senior Accountant/Treasury Analyst to join the Financial Reporting & Treasury team. The ideal candidate will have 5 years accounting experience with specific experience in accounting and financial analysis, corporate tax, Fixed Assets and various corporate treasury responsibilities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with financial statements
- Preparing tax schedules, reviewing tax filings, coordinating payments of tax and non-tax distributions
- Maintain all fixed assets records
- Prepare various annual census reports
- Assist with analysis, budgets and projections
- Establish new bank accounts as needed

The work in this position will be directed by the Controller and the Assistant Controller/Treasury Manager.
