The following summarizes our U.S. benefits for full-time employees. More detailed information can be found in the summary plan descriptions and/or employee manual. Different eligibility requirements may apply.
Group Health Plan
Diversified offers eligible employees a comprehensive group health plan (Medical, Dental, Flexible Spending Accounts, Life/AD&D, Disability) that allows each employee to select the coverage option best suited to their own individual needs. Plan coverage includes routine preventative services at little or no cost to the plan participant.
Diversified offers pre-tax reimbursement accounts to help employees save for health care and dependent care expenses.
Wellness Program
Our active and innovative wellness program provides an additional focus on health and wellness for employees. On-site health screenings, massage therapy, free healthy snacks, wellness magazines and information, discount fitness memberships, in-house wellness and fitness classes are all part of this comprehensive program.
Diversified subsidizes the majority of an annual membership at the YMCA in Greater Portland, as well.
Health Screening and Flu Shots
We recognize the benefit in having healthy employees. Diversified employees have the opportunity to participate in a free, on-site health screening annually. We also coordinate an annual flu shot clinic for employees.
Retirement Benefits 401(k) Plan
Building a secure financial future means saving and investing for the long term. Diversified’s 401(k) retirement saving plan can help employees do that through elective, matching and profit sharing contributions. Employees can contribute to the 401(k) Plan through pre-tax contributions. Diversified will match contributions up to 4% of eligible annual pay. Each year, Diversified may make a discretionary contribution based on company performance measured to an achieved target percent of the company-wide budget.
Training & Professional Development
Diversified recognizes that creating and developing employee skills directly correlates to the success of the company by retaining quality employees and positioning Diversified as a ‘great place to work’. We offer a variety of high quality training programs designed for in-house presentation and also offer support for outside workshops, conferences and tuition reimbursement.
At Diversified, we believe that learning can take many forms. That’s why we have an on-site library, stocked with resources on a variety of business topics. Employees can use the materials in the library at their convenience.
We also offer a tuition reimbursement program for employees wishing to further their education.
Your Time
Time away from work is an important part of maintaining a comfortable work/life balance. Diversified offers 10 paid holidays per year, a generous vacation bank, and paid sick leave that’s available when you need it.
Our flextime, telecommuting, compressed workweeks are an option for employees at Diversified with approval from supervisors.

A free and confidential resource provided to employees who seek additional assistance on specific services.
Additional Benefits
New Employee Orientation Program
Each new employee participates in a comprehensive orientation program. A “buddy” is assigned to help orient and train new hires.
Discount Program
Our discount program offers employees FREE Sea Dog tickets and local and national museum tickets; discounted tickets for area ski resorts, amusement parks, banking, insurance, movie tickets, fitness centers, travel and shopping.
Parking
Parking at a nearby garage is free! Employees who take public transportation can receive a similar reimbursement towards public transportation passes.
Dry Cleaning
No more running to the dry cleaners on Saturday! We provide an on-site drop off/pick-up service for employees to meet their dry cleaning needs.
Talent Referral Program
Good people know good people! Diversified encourages its employees to refer friends or associates who may be qualified for employment. An employee who refers someone who is then hired will receive an employee referral bonus at the referred employee’s 6-month anniversary.
Employee Recognition Program
Diversified believes in recognizing and rewarding employees for outstanding performance, loyalty, and commitment to the organization. Our SPOT and STAR awards identify employees for noteworthy accomplishments. Service awards recognize milestone years of service.
Chair Massages
To help reduce stress, an on-site licensed massage therapist makes appointments at Diversified twice a month for a small fee. We also have an automated massage chair for employees to use free of charge.
Lactation Room
A private room is provided for nursing mothers.
TGIF!
Friday’s are casual at Diversified. Jeans are worn and friendly, well-behaved dogs are welcome.
